Custom Deck
Before
This
home is built on the beach (explaining the telephone pole piers)
After
This
deck required absolutely no ground contact. Which you can see in the right
photo, all supports had to go back to the main house supports. An additional
feature to
this deck is stairs that can be raised up and locked off for storms and high
water.
The
building inspector in this town now sends permit applicants for decks on the
beach to
this project for idea's on minimizing ground contact and protecting against
storm damage.
