When we decided to remodel our kitchen, Joe
Dirksmeier of JD & Assoc. Construction, as the general contractor, guided us through
every step. From the selection of cabinets to excellent sources for appliances. His
knowledge of materials, resources, and his carpentry skills were invaluable. The
disruption to our household was minimal and debris was promptly disposed of. Joe
supervised the subcontractors who arrived in a timely manner and completed the project to
our satisfaction and enjoyment.
Joe also suggested that we install a sliding glass door unit in our
breezeway. this created a more pleasant and usable room and gave us additional convenient
access to our gardens.
We can recommend Joe as a very knowledgeable, skilled, dependable, and
courteous craftsman.

During the summer of 1999, J.D. and Associates covered our home in cedar clapboard siding. Our 1940 Cape Cod style home had not been re-shingled since it had been built. We had been concerned with problems underneath being covered up but J.D.and Associates were very thorough. There was a lot of insect damage from wood bees and ants, and we were informed of any rot, where the underlayment would have to be replaced. We were impressed with the attention to detail. The cedar trim pieces around the chimney were all carefully cut in and silicone caulked. It was a small detail that made the area look much more finished. During the whole process the crew was very thorough and consciences. During the previous year, JD and Assoc had put in replacement windows for us and we were very impressed with the speed and attention to detail. If we were to make any additional home improvements we would certainly call J.D. and Associates first. We couldn’t be happier with the work that they did in our home.

has done several very large projects and a lot of smaller ones for us in the
four years we have owned our Weymouth home. We found that he brought the same
level of expertise and integrity to any size project. From our beautiful second
story fir deck to a small room that he remodeled. We've enjoyed his work and
plan on calling him for any future projects. His workmanship is spectacular and
his compassion for a homeowners desires to be met are qualities that set him
